GeoTone CIC is an award-winning arts and technology social enterprise for creating and sharing innovative audio experiences.

Our mission:

“To create audio experiences for the benefit of the disadvantaged, those with disabilities, the elderly and communities in remote locations.”

Our Story

Since incorporating in 2021 we’ve been proud to partner with a wide range of organisations, in the arts, community, transport and design, including Flux Rotherham, Newhampton Arts Centre, Nottingham University, Gatis Community Space, Artsdepot, Loch Shiel Festival, Warwick Castle and the West Highland Community Rail Partnership.

GeoTone CIC is the brainchild of theatre-makers Paul Hernes Barnes, Andrew Owen Cook and Lauren Phillips. We are individual theatre-makers in our own right, but share a passion for installation and finding new ways of telling stories in sound.

Together we bring specialisms in site-specific theatre, collaboration, writing, placemaking and disability theatre facilitation. We make art for communities and with them. We regularly collaborate with digital creatives, puppet makers and audio artists.
